Highway is organized in three operating departments (Sales, Service, and Parts). Each of these controls operations in its own area of responsibility, and is further responsible for coordination and cooperation with the other departments. The objective is to provide focused direction and implementation of departmental activity by managers directly concerned with the effectiveness and efficiency of that department, while simultaneously ensuring the interdepartmental teamwork necessary to seamlessly support of the customer. Highway's officers and managers, including the department heads, constitute an operations team, providing overall direction to corporate efforts. Additionally, an Administration Department maintains control of finance, accounting, personnel, facilities, and other areas. This department consolidates administrative support and services for the other departments, allowing them to concentrate substantially their full efforts on operations.
